I am one of the rare Austin natives who has watched the skyline change as much as the hairstyles. Born in the capital city and raised on a Texas diet of barbeque and southern hospitality, I actually learned to cut hair in Akron, Ohio.
After a couple of winters in Ohio, however, I decided Austin was home. After moving back to Austin, I spent four years barbering at the Good Life Barber Shop in downtown before the opportunity arose to start the Brazos Barbershop with my good friend Matt.
When not barbering, I enjoy swing dancing, shaking up classic cocktails, and selling clothes at Capra & Cavelli – another Austin original.

Originally from Arkansas, I got started in the barbering industry in New York City working in a 100-year-old barbershop in Manhattan.
I have called Austin home since 2017. When not at the shop I enjoy fishing, grilling, and spending time with my family.
