Hello all Hawkins customers! You may or may not have heard, there are some big changes in the works for the shop. I (Michael), have decided that it’s time for the current version of Hawkins (mulit-chair shop) to close, and I will be relocating and reopening April 1st in a new location by myself in what will still be Hawkins Barbershop. The new rendition of the shop will be on 8th Ave south in the Sola Salon Suite business, where I will operate in a private studio. I’m quite excited about the change, and looking forward to a new season in my barbering career, leaving the extra stress and headaches of the past business behind and allowing me to focus on the things I like most. Cutting quality haircuts, and spending time with you, my valued clients.
Since it will be only me, I'm asking everyone to learn to use the online booking feature for all your appointments, as I will usually be cutting hair, as opposed to being able to answer the phone and book appointments. One note of advice, when booking online, after selecting your desired service, time and date, always select the option "reserve" as opposed to "reserve and pay". This will save you a few dollars that would go to the booking company.
One other final note. The new space (address below) is across from Sinema restaurant on 8th Ave S, next door to an Orange Theory fitness place. While the parking lot has ample parking, should you encounter a tough time parking, there is plenty of street parking in the residential area on Horner Ave, which runs between Orange Therory and M.L Rose, off 8th Ave.The new location will be inside the Sola Salon Suites on 8th ave South.
